They didn’t put that on him because he’s dead right? It’s because he passed out… and that’s how they’re showing their concern right?

oh look more ken

more references of haise’s death not good :((

sometimes I forget ken’s life has always sad and it didn’t start when he became a ghoul

This page really hit me because I knew Ken was abused but I thought it was only when he moved in with his aunt. So the fact that his mother also abused him is really depressing.

d’aww look at haise hanging out with himself

FUCK FUCK DUCK OH SHIT SHIT’S ABOUT TO GET REAL

on Sweetie

Nozmo’s Sweetie is a webcomic short story with an amazing use of colors, adding to its visual story telling and mood for a particular scene.

it opens up with very pastel-y colors: pinks, greens, and violets

The second page still maintains that very pastel look, unlike the previous page Atsushi appears to be colored in a more human like tone. His hands, when emphasizing the sweets being given to Madoka appear especially human.

The next few pages have a change in color pallet to signalize a shift in tone, appearing with more cools and eventually almost completely relying on cools.

this is one of my favorite pages

When Madoka finally arrives at his hold home we once again see another shift in color palette but this time there’s a lack of.

With the exception of the next page, but the following pages will use flats and two or three main colors.

once you get to page 14 your eyes immediately focus on the brownies that Atsushi gives to Madoka: they don’t follow the previous pages’ rules of simplistic color choice and shading.

Interestingly enough Madoka goes back to being colored humanly; Atsushi only being colored similarly until the final panel.

The story continues to show a variety of art shifts and color palette shifts but to keep this spoiler free I’m just going to end this here.
